The Bowland lodge is a bespoke lodge designed to offer country living, whilst at the same time maximising the spectacular views of the environment. The lodges enjoy large glass focal points which include sliding doors on the sun trap decked area. This cleverly designed lodge has lots of storage spaces where you can enjoy your hobbies. 

Another lodge in the holiday lodge collection is the Harrington lodge. It is a modern Nordic-style home that has an open plan layout that combines clean and light space. The design offers an inherent cosiness with a taupe, calming grey and linen colour scheme. The mono-pitch roof of the lodge creates a distinctive design, airy internal space, and light. The centre lounge lodge of the Harrington lodge has a captivating glass front with a sliding door that help in taking views of the Lakeland fells, Ingleborough and the fairways of Bentham Golf Course. 

For those that are keen to get out and about to explore, Wenningdale Escapes is surrounded by excellent footpaths and miles of rural road, ideal for cycling. There are also ample surrounding hotspots for fishing, climbing and mountain biking.

As we have mentioned, Wenningdale Escapes is located in the famous Yorkshire Three Peaks.  The very nature of this environment ensures that all types of experiences can be catered for. This can range from being action-packed with lots of walking, cycling and sports, to a more relaxed affair offering tranquillity, stunning views, and time to breathe. Wenningdale Escapes is just a scenic drive away from the pretty market towns of Hawes, Settle and Kirkby Lonsdale, so local amenities are not too far away. Kirkby Lonsdale is a bustling town that has a famous connection, it was the location for the film Dr Doolittle back in 2018! The town also boasts some must-see boutique shops, cafes, and an AA rosette restaurant. 

Bentham is a market town located in between the Yorkshire Dales and Forest of Bowland and the small market town has a lot to offer visitors and residents. It is renowned for its routes for pony trekking, walking, and cycling as well as having a good collection of pubs, restaurants, and eateries to enjoy. Bentham is also a place to learn about a rich history with one of the oldest churches in the area being located here. 

Just over half an hour away is the lively town of Skipton.  It has a lot to offer such as cinemas, the theatre, artists, galleries, and festivals. The Plaza Cinema in Skipton for instance still retains its original features such as stall and circle seats. The Mart Theatre in Skipton offers a unique theatre experience with live music, family friends show comedy and a diverse theatre calendar. Apart from the two above-listed cinemas and theatres, there are many other cinemas, theatres, and activities to add to a to do list. Heritage forms a big part of Skipton, and there is much to explore. Skipton Castle is a 900-year-old castle who two imposing towers can be seen from the high street. Visiting the castle is a paid-for activity, but there is a lot to see, do and learn. From tours around the whole castle to a cosy cup of tea and cake in their new tearoom, the visit will be most pleasurable for the whole family.
