There's generally good mobile coverage and free Wi-Fi available across the caravan park, as well as free and family friendly bathrooms, a laundrette with ironing facilities, dishwashing facilities, a chemical disposal point and there's an on site shop, allowing you to stock up on your everyday essentials without leaving the campsite – very convenient. There are also local shops within a mile of the campsite. You'll be able to keep the children entertained thanks to the campsite's play area which has a slide, a climbing frame and a swing, and there is a games room (the latter open only during the high season). In addition, from the spring bank holiday until early September, guests have the use of an outdoor heated swimming pool – there is even a poolside bar.If you fancy a night off from cooking, there's a takeaway on site, as well as a family bar. Most breeds of dog are welcome, too, if kept on a lead – and owners must remember to clear up after their pets.At Trekenning Tourist Park you can stay on either a standard pitch or a service pitch – the former is perfect if you're staying in a tent, the latter includes electric hook-up. For your peace of mind and safety, the campsite has a security barrier and a swipe card is required to gain access.Seasonal pitches are also available at this Cornish campsite, from £1500 a year. There is also a development of 26 holiday homes set in a secluded area, meaning even more people can enjoy their holidays here.If you're after somewhere to stay on your surfing holidays, Trekenning Tourist Park might fit the bill, as it is only a 15-minute drive from Newquay, with its world famous Fistral Beach. And it's not just surfing you can enjoy, windsurfing, bodyboarding, kneeboarding and more will help you work up an appetite, before you enjoy a meal in the local pubs, cafes and restaurants.However, there is so much more to discover on your camping, motorhome and caravan holidays in Cornwall. The foodie paradise that is Padstow is only about 20 minutes away by car, pretty Port Isaac around a half hour drive away.
