Hendre Eynon Caravan Park is a beautiful, three-star site found within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, in the charming south western corner of Wales. The park is open from April 1st until September 30th every year, and welcomes guests with motorhomes, touring caravans, and tents onto the site. Most of the pitches at the site have access to electric hook ups.Pets are welcome to stay with their owners at the park, although guests are advised that Hendre Eynon Caravan Park is a working farm, so pets must be kept on a leash and under control at all times.Facilities available to ensure the comfort of guests during their stay at the park include an amenities block with separate washrooms and showers, toilets, and a laundrette with washing and drying machines available. Chemical waste disposal points are also provided.The site office doubles as a tourist information area, where guests can pick up leaflets to help them plan their day out in south Wales. Fresh milk and eggs from the farm are also available from the office. A dog walking area is provided behind the main amenities block, although there is also plenty of space for taking a stroll with pets across the surrounding region.Plenty of space is provided on the park for families to enjoy ball games or other outdoor activities and pursuits.Tourists looking to explore the area on foot will find miles of pathways and trails, while those happier travelling on two wheels will find a popular National Cycle Network route passing by the park. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path offers miles of amazing walking, with sections of the coastline around this area regarded as some of the best in the world owing to its rugged and unspoiled nature.Guests wanting to discover other sections of the coastal path can take the shuttle bus from right outside the park to a number of locations.This region is a haven for wildlife lovers and birdwatchers, and the Dowrog Common Nature Reserve adjacent to Hendre Eynon Caravan Park is always popular, both with park guests as well as with those travelling from across Wales and further afield.The beaches of the Pembrokeshire coast are diverse and offer something for everyone. There are hidden rocky coves that are perfect for a quiet day of reflection, as well as long, golden sands with cafés, ice cream parlours, and numerous places to pick up beach toys or other purchases. The region also has a number of working harbours, with tourists often able to head out sea fishing with a local fisherman!Guests looking for an adventure away from south west Wales can head into Fishguard, and take the ferry across to Dublin to spend a day in Ireland’s capital should they wish to.
