Thatched Cottage Park is a small residential park which is situated on the outskirts of the village of Lyndhurst (the capital of the New Forest). There is a bus stop right outside the park and Ashurst, which is on the main Waterloo – Weymouth railway line is just a few minutes drive away. Just 9 miles east is the city of Southampton, with all its attractions and wide variety of shops, malls, and of course this very busy port hosts liners and other shipping from across the world and these are clearly visible as they navigate the Southampton Water.

To the south of Lyndhurst lies the delightful village of Brockenhurst, and the market town of Lymington – just a few miles beyond has a wide variety of attractions and is famous for its marinas and sailing facilities.

So what could be nicer than living at Thatched Cottage Park. Not only do you have a variety of attractions close by but you can quite literally walk out of the park and onto the forest. The New Forest itself is famous for the animals which can wander freely and the terrain varies from lowland heathland to vast swathes of wooded areas. Lyndhurst Golf Club is adjacent to the park.
