Tall Trees is a well-established, modern park designed for the over-fifties on the edge of Nottinghamshire's market town Mansfield. The town of Mansfield has an extensive range of shops which include a range of quaint independent stores and high street retailers. Homeowners may choose to visit The Mansfield Palace Theatre and enjoy a brilliant range of entertainment from musical theatre to live music- suitable for all ages and may also enjoy a fun night out at the Gala Bingo Hall. Active residents will also be pleased to know the town is home to the Meden Sports Centre, which hosts a range of classes as well as having an indoor heated pool.

The stunning Sherwood Forest is a half-hour drive away from the park and is said to be home of the legendary Robin Hood. Not only is the forest picturesque with a beautiful woodland backdrop, but there is much to do, from relaxing spa treatments and strolling along the footpaths to archery and orienteering- perfect as a day out or weekend stay for visiting families! Nottingham Castle also makes a good day out with six acres of Victorian-inspired grounds to be discovered as well as a recently refurbished museum where visitors can explore Nottinghamshire's rich history as well as admire spectacular arts.
