Get a glimpse of the earliest Neolithic monuments and industrial landscapes, medieval settlements and how they all tie together. You can do all of these and more from your holiday base in Springfield Retreat.

There are many beaches near the park, including the Jurassic Coast, which is at your doorstep, and the elegant seaside towns of the English Riviera, Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth, and Sidmouth, Seaton, Lyme Regis, and Beer, among others. Springfield Retreat is within an hour's drive from several sandy beaches along the North Atlantic coast. The village of Cheriton Bishop, with its village stores and old fashioned pubs serving excellent food, can be found in the opposite direction, only two minutes from the park.

In just a few minutes, you can reach the beautiful cathedral city of Exeter, which features an excellent variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, and its historic quayside.
