Slyne Caravan Park is a peaceful family run park lies in the rural parish of Slyne, in Lancashire. The village of Slyne itself includes a post-office, local shops, a pharmacy and several pubs that serve food. Slightly further out, only a 10-minute drive is the town of Morecambe. Along with many more shops, restaurants, pubs and bars there is sources of indoor entertainment at the unique historical buildings of Morecambe Winter Gardens theatre or The Platform and Morecombe is home to a Festival Market with a wide range of stalls to explore. Furthermore Morecambe is situated within Morecambe bay so boasts beautiful coastal scenery and more opportunities: guided walking and cycling routes, golf courses, places for sea fishing, sailing opportunities, trips to see the seal population and other wildlife and you can also take a boat rides along the beautiful Lancaster canal. Within half an hours drive from the park is the city of Lancaster. The area is full of historic ruins and memorials and exceptional attractions including Williamson Park with a tropical butterfly house, the 12th century Lancaster Castle, ancient ruins and the Lancaster City museum.
