Meadows Retreat Lodge Park is a brand new, exclusive development located on the A595, at Moota, near Cockermouth. Situated in the centre of the Lake District National Park, it is an ideal base for discovering the Northern and Western Lake District. Meadows Retreat offers spectacular rural views across the open countryside towards Skiddaw whilst benefitting from excellent transport links.

Meadows Retreat Lodge Park, your home from home in the Lakes is open all year round. The Lodges are set out in spacious bays surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds with double driveways beside each Lodge. The Lodges are double glazed with central heating for pleasant nights in. A 5mph speed limit is in operation around the park.

Located on a bus route allowing you to easily access Keswick, Cockermouth or Whitehaven. The bus stop is conveniently situated near the park.

The English Lake District is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to England’s highest mountain Scafell Pike, as well as Wastwater, the nation’s deepest lake. Places to visit include the Threlkeld Mining Museum, the Lakes Distillery at Cockermouth and the nearby Pencil Museum at Keswick. Listed as a Dark Skies Discovery site, the area is excellent for stargazing. 

We pride ourselves on the peace and tranquillity here at Meadows Lodge. The Park is located on the A595. Within walking distance there is a Garden Centre and Coffee Shop as well as plenty of cycling routes and fishing opportunities nearby. Renowned for its beauty and unbridled greenery, if you’re planning to visit Lake District attractions there will be an abundance of awe-inspiring scenery to view on the way. Whether by car or bus, there is a stop nearby, your next adventure is just a step or two away.

Meadows Retreat Lodge Park is on the A595 just seven miles from Cockermouth and nine miles from Bassenthwaite Lake. From the M6 exit at junction 41, take the B5305 toward Wigton. After 17 miles turn left onto the A595. Meadows Retreat is on your left in approx 10 miles. We are also on a bus route with a stop nearby.
