Lakeland Leisure Park is in Cumbria, Cumbria is a huge county that's largely dominated by the hills, lakes and valleys of the Lake District National Park. Lakeland Holiday Park is located just along the southern edge of this vast beautiful wilderness, alongside the sea and sand flats of Morecombe Bay and the Kent Channel. Most of our sports and leisure facilities are located in and around our main entertainment complex by the park entrance, so as you enter you can see our sports field, basketball court, archery range, indoor and outdoor pools plus children's play area. Out beyond our first rows of static caravans you can find our tennis courts, and then our 9 hole golf course and clubhouse. Over the last few years we've had on-going investment to provide a series of new developments here like the golf course and our adventure trails- but the most recent is our new sports lake. All of these developments will help to make a lifetime of memories for holiday home owners.

Along the way you'll pass miles of lush forest and increasingly mountainous hills. We're able to offer you caravan holiday homes with views of the Lake District in the distance, the sea just beyond the end of our park or you could even buy one of the static caravans we have for sale by our new lake or golf course. The sports lake is a great addition which gives us a place to hold outdoor watersports like kayaking - plus it just looks fabulous. As a holiday home owner here you get access to our exclusive facilities including our owners' lounge, private garden and pond, gym, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. We even have an owners-only indoor pool - perfect for getting in a few quiet, undisturbed lengths. Things to do in Cumbria Our nearest sandy beach is just four miles away at Grange-over-Sands. It's a lovely little seaside village with some nice coastal walks and a guided walk across Morecambe Bay's infamously treacherous sands. Travelling into the Lake District you'll come across a number of tiny chocolate box villages, each with their own tearooms. At Haverthwaite you can board a steam locomotive on the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway for short trip up to Lakeside station. From there you can visit the Lakes Aquarium or take a lake cruise up to Windermere. The World of Beatrix Potter,a children's attraction based on Potter's works isn't far from here either.
