There’s a definite sense of peace and seclusion here, but you’ll find plenty to see and do right on our doorstep. Amble down into the village and grab a drink at one of the waterside pubs or cafes, venture through the Smugglers’ Tunnel to paddleboard at Ness Beach, or pull on your hiking boots and meander along the winding coastal paths for some nature-spotting, showstopping landscapes, and a hearty lungful of sea air.

A trip across to Teignmouth aboard the famous historic passenger ferry is a must-do, and a little further afield you’ll find all the attractions of Torquay and the English Riviera, Exeter, and Dartmoor. 

But with fantastic on-site facilities, including the recently renovated health and fitness suite, and an award-winning restaurant, Coast View is a destination in its own right. 

If the sea’s a little too nippy for you, our beautiful heated indoor pool, flooded with sunlight and those spectacular sea views, is the perfect place to take a relaxing dip. Bask in the brand-new steam room and infra-red sauna, or head to the gym, where you’ll find a great range of state-of-the-art equipment. We’re excited to announce the upcoming launch of our new spa, Be. Well, which will offer a variety of beauty and wellness treatments in tranquil and luxurious surroundings.

After all that exercise, you’ll have worked up quite an appetite. Luckily, The Bucket & Spade, our multi-award-winning restaurant has you covered. Boasting some of the best, uninterrupted coastal views, a rustic, cosy (and pet-friendly) interior, and a large sun terrace for rooftop al fresco dining, it’s no surprise that this is a popular spot amongst locals and holidaymakers alike. And with a carefully curated seasonal menu, using the finest, locally sourced produce (think pan-fried Kingfisher Brixham coley or delicious Dartmoor steak), and gluten-free and vegan options available, there’s something for everyone to tuck into.
