The park itself is a beautiful mature woodland with pastoral natural views all around and an abundance of wildlife which can be explored through scenic nature trails. The homes are placed in winding paths through woodland meaning holiday home owners can observe the stunning scenery and collection of interesting wildlife from their home patio. The park belongs to the quiet, semi-rural village of Markfield. There are two public houses in the village- The Bulls Head and The Queen's Head- both with a warm, friendly atmosphere. The city of Leicester is just over seven miles from Charnwood park and can be easily accessed via car or bus.
